Located just north of Highwood's Public Library and west of the train station is Everts Park. A charming local park that often hosts community concerts and other festivities to allow residents to connect and celebrate together.

Recently, Halloran & Yauch installed a brand-new system that will continue to keep the park radiant for all the summertime festivals. Additionally, Everts Park has a rain garden that helps increase the native wildlife. By using retained rainwater, the park can sustainably protect surrounding areas from fertilizer runoff while also providing a habitat for insects. You can learn more about the rain garden in the interpretive sign pictured below.

Whether Nashwood, Garlic Fest, or their weekly Evening Gourmet Market is taking place, we hope everyone enjoys the beauty that this park has to offer.
